In 1927 Mr. Jolly was hard pressed for work.  He was a man who appreciated the simple things in life.  Mr Jolly was a stout man of good character.  He would rise every morning with the sun, and you could still find him there long after night fall, telling tall tales to his closest friends.  When Mr Jolly found himself down on his luck, he turned to what he enjoyed the most!  " That first cup of freshly brewed coffee and scrumptious doughnut every morning."  So in 1927 Mr Jolly accomplished his dream and opened the first Mr Jolly's Coffee and Doughnut Shoppe.  Mr Jolly brought together everything loved most in life, a good story, a great book, fun games and winsome people.  Today Mr Jolly lives on in everyone of us, every time I hear someone laugh or see a smile over that first cup of hot coffee in the morning, I know Mr Jolly is smiling down on all of us.
